Portorož Marina and Gulf of Piran

Marina Portorož is located in the northeastern part of the Bay of Piran in the immediate vicinity of Portorož, Slovenia’s largest tourist center and climatic health resort. Access to the marina is through a 3.5-meter deep channel marked by two beacons at the entrance to the channel and two at the entrance to the marina. The channel is 22 meters wide. The marina has two basins, the north with two docks and the south with eight. All moorings are protected from winds in any direction. The marina has 650 offshore moorings, 350 places at the dock, and space for 100 vessels in covered hangers. It can accommodate vessels up to 24 meters in length with drafts up to 3.5 meters. All moorings are furnished with connections for water and electricity.
