Rogla rises to 1,517 metres in the Municipality of Zreče, and the weather on the mountain can be quite different from what you see in the valleys below. The live image shows what is happening at the lift right now: whether there is snow on the slope, how the sky and visibility look, and whether the area is busy or quiet. It is a practical check before driving up for a ski day, a winter walk or a summer outing on Pohorje.
The Planja chairlift through the seasons
In winter the camera follows the slope and lift area under snow; in the warmer months the same scene turns into open meadow edged by forest. Checking the view at different times of day gives a good sense of how light, cloud and snow cover change on the plateau.
