Platak is a ski resort for every taste, for trained professionals and recreation enthusiasts, snowboarders, families with little children and those who just enjoy the snow. The highest peak is Radeševo (1363m). It is available with a half-hour ride from Rijeka. Several times Platak is covered with snow when the temperatures along the coast are well above zero. During summer time Platak is a popular destination for hikers and walkers.
