The pearl of Slunj the water mill village of Rastoke resulted from natures games where the green-blue water of Slunjčica spills over travertine rock into the Korana creating many waterfalls, rapids, cascades and small lakes that are interlaced in the mill village. Slunj provides lots of opportunities for a holiday and recreation. Situated above the rivers Slunjčica and Korana along the main road to the Plitvice lakes, and evidence of its turbulent past are today by the walls of the old Frankopan city.
